Location is Still King: Even with Premium Prices, Buyers Undeterred

Who wouldn’t want to live in an idyllic place, such as in one of Britain’s thirteen national parks, in a location named as one of the country’s forty-six areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONBs)? Who wouldn’t want to wake up every day to stunning views and the tranquil sounds of the countryside? Can you imagine having your morning coffee while gazing out at the sun just rising up from wooded hills—and winding up for the day with a glass of wine watching the sun setting on an unlimited view of the sea? Among the specific regions where you could enjoy these ideal locations are in the South Downs National Park and the Chichester AONB. However, as market dictates, the luxury of stunning views comes at a premium, with such homes costing far more than outside those regions. There’s also a natural lack of supply of these prime homes because of the areas’ development restrictions.
